  17. <p>    Papa's image could do with a little brightening, thought
  18. the daughter of Poland's President Wojciech Jaruzelski. So
  19. Monika Jaruzelska, 26, came up with a bold idea: glamour photos
  20. of her and some chitchat in a Western magazine ought to make Dad
  21. seem less of a "gloomy man in dark glasses." It was a mistake.
  22. Paris Match portrayed the would-be actress as a material girl
  23. who wants to live in Italy, and left Monika bitter. I'm "not
  24. involved in politics," she said. "If my father held a different
  25. job, there certainly wouldn't be such an unpleasant situation."
